INDICATIVE PROGRAM AND ITINERARY FOR YOUR VACATION

SATURDAY: In the afternoon, embark in Lipari, welcome drink and cabin assignment. Afterwards, with Ball the guests help, grocery shopping for the week. Dinner on board, or at a restaurant of your choice.

SUNDAY: Early morning departure, sailing to the harbour of Santa Marina in Salina. Here you might wish to purchase some local specialties: Malvasia wine, capers, marinated caper seedpods (cucunci). Optional excursion on the island, swim by the beach of Pollara, featured in the movie “the mailman” with Massimo Troisi. Dinner while anchored in a lovely bay.

MONDAY: Sailing to Panarea, Basiluzzo, Lisca Bianca. Lunch, afternoon sailing to Stromboli. Dinner in Stromboli, night sailing underneath the Sciara del fuoco. Night anchored in Stromboli, or if the weather permits, night sailing to Filicudi.

TUESDAY:
Filicudi offers a number of beautiful excursions. You can choose to disembark and explore the island while the catamaran sails on to visit Alicudi, with a stop for a swin in Canna di Filicudi and at the Reef of Montenassari. In the evening, all will regroup in Filicudi to spend the night there and maybe dine at some typical local inn.

WEDNESDAY: sailing back to Lipari to spend the day in the largest of the Aeolian islands. We will sail along Lipari’s west coast and stop for a swim in one of its lovely coves. Night at anchor.

THURSDAY: Early morning departure and sail to the western coast of Vulcano. At sunset we will be south of Vulcano, near the light house of Punta Gelso. We will stop for a swim, have dinner and spend the night at anchor.

FRIDAY: Sailing along the eastern coast of Vulcano, a swim in the warm waters of Cala di Levante, optional excursion to the crater, or else soaking in the thermal mud pools – a real treat! Lunch on board in Cala di Ponente. In the afternoon, sail back to Lipari. Dinner on board or at a local restaurant. While on the island, you can go on an excursion, visit the exceptional archaeological museum, wander around shops and patisseries, check out the rhum store… Sampling the local specialty, lemon or coffe granita, is a must.

SATURDAY: breakfast, packing and disembarking by 10 am.
