ELBA ISLAND - TUSCANY ARCIPELAGO - CORSICA

AZUL - THE CATAMARAN
The cruises take place on board on a large and modern sailing catamaran 13 mt long and 7 mt wide, builded in 2002 and refitting in 2006 carries up to 8 people in addition to the crew. On board there are 4 double cabins and 4 bathrooms. The cockpit is very large, where will be consumed memorable dinners at the sunset. In the front, the "net" ideal space to enjoy full days of sun.
By definition the catamaran, is a boat that ensures high comfort and high stability even with a sea ruffled, this means that it is difficult to suffer badly in the sea.
Furthermore, the little draught allows you to enter in absolute safety in little bays impossible for another type of vessels. Are available on board fishing equipment and snorkeling.


SERVICES
On board is always present Marco, the master of Azul that has the responsibility of your and the boat safety. He will take care of the management, the conduction of catamaran, and in the limit of marine weather conditions of the moment, he will follow the recommended itinerary in the programme.
He will assist you in the kitchen, where in the absence of volunteers, in turn or in a group, you will prepare, lunches and dinners, without forgetting the snacks and appetizers. All together we will also take in order dinette, galley and common spaces. Ask him for any need and as far as possible he will try to enjoy you.

Fare quote Includes: accommodation in double cabins with private bathroom, skipper, bed linens, final cleaning, tender with outboard, mooring departure and arrival, 1 full of fuel, 1 full of water, Snorkelling equipment, fishing, all the on-board equipment.
Fare quote does not includes: trip to the departure place, moorings and harbour fee, provisioning, extra fuel and water.


HOW TO GET THERE
The departure base is the buoys field of Baratti, (www.ormeggiobaratti.it) on tuscany coast a few miles north of Piombino. Accessible by car:
Coming from North: take the highway A12 Genoa-Rosignano, exit at Rosignano and take the interstate Livorno-Grosseto direction Grosseto. Exit at San Vincenzo, direction Piombino, after approx 13 km on the right take the junction Baratti/Populonia, continue for approx 1 km, at the junction for Populonia maintain the right.
Coming from South: Take the highway A12 Roma-Civitavecchia, at the end of the highway take the interstate Grosseto-Livorno. Exit at Venturina and take the SS 398 direction Piombino, at the end of the SS 398 towards Piombino, maintain the right and continue towards to San Vincenzo. After approx. 6 km on the left take the junction Baratti/Populonia, continue for ca. 1 km, at the junction for Populonia maintain the right.


PROVISIONING - FOOD & BEVERAGE
Arrived on board together we will prepare a list of provisioning for the lunches, dinners, snacks and aperitifs. Marco will advise you what to buy and what not to buy and most important he will indicate the quantity...... to eat on board is how to eat at home with the difference that we are always in 8/10 but we do not you have a refrigerator capacious as we are used normally.


INDICATIVE PROGRAMME
Various programmes are possible, all depends on weather conditions of the moment and your willness to navigate. The basis is always Baratti on tuscan coast and the Elba Island is the destination common to all the cruises. In a week is possible to make the complete round trip of Elba island or to get to north of Corsica of the from the northern side of the island with a stop in Capraia.
Also Giglio and Giannutri are affordable and in this case we will reach the southern part of Elba. Once on board, together with the master, you will decide itinerary and programme, bearing in mind that:







The programme is purely indicative and not binding and can be changed to sole discretion of the master on the basis of weather conditions marine or for reasons of force majeure if they lead lack of security for the guests, the crew and for the boat.
